Croatia native and Near FM volunteer, LIDIJA RADACIC joins Noel McGuinness to talk about life in Croatia after recently joining the EU.
Lidija talks about her lifestyle in Dublin and the similarities between the two cultures of Ireland and Croatia, the lifestyle and location of Croatia, the importance of tourism for the country and their need to improve their industrial production.
She also talks about the abundance of fresh foods available there, their large folk music scene, the different temperatures in the inland regions depending on the seasons and how she hopes that Croatia’s EU inclusion can help them with their unemployment situation.
She also talks about her involvement with Near FM and her show, “Balkan Beatz” that she produced on Near FM.
